I recently hired Schevers Construction to convert my garage to a 400sf ADU in Manhattan Beach. Mark and his crew did a great job, at a fair price, and within the time frame he said the job would take. When issues did come up with the city or with a subcontractor - as happens with any project - Mark handled them well. He looks for solutions, not for any possible opportunity to nickel and dime you. Basically, what you are getting with Mark is not the fanciest contractor but an honest, experienced builder that I think genuinely wants to do the job the right way for the homeowner.
